What a class looks like
A typical Playtime session: - Settling-in game, - Active physical games, role-play and imaginative activities, child-led play integrated throughout, - Teaching time with EYFS-based activities, - Interactive stories with songs and music, - Creative 'make a memory' crafts. Each day ends with a review of activities. Themed days rotate weekly and may include Animal Adventure, Dinosaur Discovery, Superhero Academy, Music & Movement, and Sports Day.

Right for your child?
Preschool children aged 2.5–4 years who are dry and out of nappies. Children must be toilet-trained to participate. Suitable for children who enjoy creative play, physical activity, and social interaction in a structured early-years setting.
Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
The Playtime programme is based around themed days consisting of instructor-led games, short amounts of child-led play, arts & crafts, snack time, and STEAM-integrated activities. The curriculum follows EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) principles with a focus on creative arts, science, physical education, and emotional wellbeing.
Learning Outcomes
Creative expression through arts and crafts, physical development through active games, social skills and confidence through group interaction, early STEAM exposure, emotional wellbeing, and preparation for successful transition to formal schooling.
About
Camp Beaumont's Playtime programme offers 2.5-4 year old children a variety of fun and engaging activities in creative arts, science, physical education and emotional wellbeing. The camp runs as a half-day programme from 9am to 12 noon (or 12:30pm). - Themed daily activities including Animal Adventure, Dinosaur Discovery, Superhero Academy, Music & Movement, and Sports Day. - Children participate in instructor-led games, child-led play, arts & crafts, STEAM elements, interactive stories, songs and music, and creative activities where they make items to take home.
Before your first class
Bring a healthy nut-free snack and a full water bottle. All food containers and water bottles must be clearly labelled with your child's name. Children must be dry and out of nappies to participate.
