What a class looks like

MONDAY TO FRIDAY (TYPICAL DAY PROGRAMME) Activity 8:00 Pick up of surfers by TIG at Central ferry pier #7. AM Aged 5-9: Surf sessions Aged 9-13: Nippers and surf session (with a snack, water & sunscreen break in between) 12:15 Lunch (TIG LUNCH: Sandwich Buffet / Mac & Cheese / Sausage Sizzle / Grilled Cheese) PM Aged 5-9: Surf session and dry session; Aged 9-13: Two surf sessions (with snack, water & sunscreen break in between) 15:30 Transport to Central 16:30 Pick up by parents/guardians at Central ferry pier #7 and sign-out *Please note that this schedule is subject to change due to weather and other conditions

Right for your child?

Kids who love the ocean and want to learn surfing fundamentals. Water confidence required. Beginners welcome with instructor ratios of 1:3 for ages 5-7 and 1:5 for ages 8+.

Curriculum & Progression

Structured curriculum

Structured programme combining surf skills instruction with ocean safety education, Nippers activities, and dry land fitness training. Daily progression builds water confidence and surfing fundamentals.

About

Kids learn command of the water and waves while building self-confidence and a life-long love of the ocean. The programme includes: Beach and ocean safety activities, Water confidence, Nippers activities (Australian and New Zealand surf awareness and safety protocols), Body dexterity, Core strength, Balance activities. Includes: Daily lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, TIG merchandise, Certificate of completion, All activity equipment. Optional overnight camping available for ages 9+ every Thursday. Monday to Friday, 8:00am pickup at Central Ferry Pier #7, returning by 4:30pm.
